The Right Wing Tele-Bimbo : Ann Coulter!

Jeez.

So, I had heard the name Ann Coulter before, said with disdain by my friends, coworkers, and family members, but I never really bothered to watch any interviews with her, or read any of her bullshit columns.

Lemme tell ya... She's a real right wing nut job.

Being that I am a female, and regularly take advantage of my civil rights in this country, as afforded to me by the United States Constitution, hearing her talk makes me angry. Does she even realize that when she speaks out on television shows, or writes her way-too conservative books, that she is taking advantage of the rights women fought and died for since the founding of our country? (and long before it's founding!)

Women have only had the right to vote for 89 years in our country. And they've only had free access to birth control for 49. Until the mid 1960s, women didn't have equal opportunities when it came to jobs, and a majority of our society's men thought that the best place for us was in the kitchen. A few still do think this. Apparently, so does Ann Coulter.

I wonder if, when she speaks about taking away women's reproductive/civil rights, she realizes that she is, in fact, a woman? Does she realize she would be taking these rights away from herself as well? If it weren't for the men and women fighting for her rights when she was a toddler, she wouldn't have been able to work, successfully, in a private practice law firm. She also wouldn't have had the time to write her books, or be a media whore, if she was doing what she thinks other women should do and was raising up some offspring.

I found it hilariously ironic that, for a woman who spouts off about the values of the nuclear family, she can't nail down a man long enough to tie the knot. In all her dating and messing around(I assume she messes around because she looks like a skank), did she never once use birth control? Doubtful. If she didn't, then she's been going into abortion clinics through back doors for years. Or maybe they just never wanted to screw her. I wouldn't be surprised, her vagina probably has fangs.

I won't go into her views on how we should deal with foreign affairs(I believe the sentence "kill their leaders" was said), or on how horrendously bigoted she is when it comes to religions other than her own. (i don't group her in with other Christians, because none of the ones I know would ever say that the Jews need to be "perfected"). That's an entire book if I start to write on it.

I'll just leave with a message directed right at Ann Coulter:

You don't want women to vote? Feel free to lead by example.



Honestly, why are we, as Americans, putting up with this woman? There's a fine line between being polically minded and being a bigotous skank.
